We recently had Brownie Troop 288 visit one of our farms. The girls learned all about how a dairy farm works and were able to walk around and see some of the cows up close. We received this great thank you letter that we wanted to share:

“We had the most amazing time at your Dairy Farm. Thank you for everything! The girls learned so much and will remember that experience forever. Val and Abby were great and had so much patience with the girls. We felt very welcome and comfortable- it was a huge treat. The following day I had mother’s coming up to me and thanking me for such a great experience for their girls. They all went home with lots to tell. We will all be sure to spread the word about Rhody Fresh!! and what a difference we can all make!”

Rhody Fresh was at Eastside Marketplace in Providence November 13 passing out samples to customers at Rhode Island Day 2010!

We are honored to have many local chefs using our milk and cream in their recipes and especially thrilled when they share them. Celestial Café located at 9567 South County Trail in Exeter, supports their neighbors by using local ingredients and even features a “Local Farm Dinner” option. Recently, one of Celestial Café’s recipes was featured on projo.com. Wow your family or dinner guests with this delicious recipe for “Rhody Farm Pumpkin Sweet Red Pepper Amaretto Bisque.” You can use any ordinary bowl but serving in a pumpkin is really sure to impress.

Rhody Fresh was at Whole Foods in Cranston and at the Eastside Marketplace in Providence on Saturday, October 29. Valerie Wright and Abbie Rose helped celebrate Halloween and pass out some fresh samples of Rhody Fresh Milk to customers.

Rhoda is going to have a busy Saturday getting ready for Halloween. She will also be at Whole Foods in Cranston from 1- 3pm. There will be face painting, Storytelling and fun for all!

Rhoda will be making a special guest appearance on Saturday, October 30 for Kid’s Day at Eastside Marketplace in Providence. If it is anything like last year there will be lots of fun to be had – games, prizes and trick or treating in the aisles! Kids who wear costumes can win prizes!

On October 2, Rhody Fresh spent a beautiful day at “Celebrate West Greenwich.”  This was an event sponsored by the West Greenwich Land Trust.

We were swarmed by Rhody Fresh Milk loving kids in the new refurbished library for the Books are Wings event in West Warwick on October 5^th.

On Monday, October 11, we had a great time bringing the beautiful calf Vixen for a visit to Schartner Farms. As you can see she was quite popular with everyone and gathered quite a crowd! Rhoda was also there to help pass out samples of Rhody Fresh Milk.
